The Royal Portuguese Cabinet of Reading is a breathtaking literary sanctuary in the heart of Rio de Janeiro. Completed in 1887 in the Neo-Manueline style, its three-story interior is wrapped in dark carved wood and houses the largest collection of Portuguese works outside of Portugal.
