The Morgan Library & Museum was originally the private library of financier Pierpont Morgan and was gifted to the public in 1924. Located in Manhattan’s Murray Hill, the space is an intellectual sanctuary featuring three levels of bronze-and-glass bookshelves and a ceiling decorated with allegorical figures.
