Richard Silver is a New York–born fine art and architectural photographer whose work explores the beauty, scale, and geometry of the world’s most remarkable spaces. Known for his distinctive visual style and technical innovation, his photographs reveal architecture in ways that challenge the traditional perspective and invite viewers to see familiar landmarks in entirely new ways.
Over the course of his career, Richard has traveled to113 countries and more than 500 cities, documenting both historic and contemporary architecture across cultures and continents. From centuries-old European cathedrals to modern urban skylines, his work reflects a deep fascination with structure, symmetry, and the way monumental spaces shape the human experience.
Richard is widely recognized for several signature photographic series, including Vertical Churches, Tilt-Shift and his groundbreaking Time Slice technique. These series transform architectural landmarks through innovative perspectives that blend technical precision with artistic interpretation, creating images that are both visually striking and conceptually unique.
His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries internationally, including The Skyscraper Museum in New York, Museum für Gestaltung in Zurich, LaGrange Art Museum, and Krause Gallery in New York, and he was a featured photographer at the 2021 PhEST Photo Festival in Italy. Richard’s photography has also appeared in major publications such as National Geographic Traveler, United Airlines’ Hemispheres Magazine, KLM, CNBC, TimeOut New York, Cartier, and Lonely Planet.
Today, Richard’s work is collected worldwide and is frequently acquired for private collections, luxury residences, hospitality projects, and commercial interiors. His photographs are available as museum-quality fine art prints in limited editions, produced to the highest archival standards.
When not traveling in search of new architectural perspectives, Richard resides in Miami, continuing to explore the evolving relationship between cities, design, and the human experience.
