Richard Silver is a New York–born fine art and architectural photographer, known for capturing iconic architecture and cityscapes around the world. While New York shaped his creative foundation, home is wherever his camera takes him — though between travels, he can often be found in Miami.
Over the course of his life, Richard has traveled to 113 countries and more than 500 cities, photographing both ancient and modern architecture across diverse cultures and landscapes. His work is driven by a fascination with structure, symmetry, and the way monumental spaces shape the human experience.
Through Richard Silver Photography, he is best known for visually distinctive series such as Vertical Churches, Tilt-Shift Architecture, and Time Slice Photography, techniques that transform familiar landmarks into immersive, altered visual perspectives. His images invite viewers to see the built environment in a new way — balancing precision, scale, and artistic interpretation.
His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries around the world, including the The Skyscraper Museum in NY, Museum fur Gestaltung in Zurich, featured photographer in the 2019 PhEST Photo Festival in Italy, LaGrange Art Museum, Krause Gallery in New York. Magazines include National Geographic Traveler, the cover of United Airlines “Hemispheres”, KLM, TimeOut NY, Cartier and Lonely Planet.
Richard Silver’s work is collected internationally and available as fine art prints for residential, hospitality, and commercial spaces.
